It's
11pm on a Saturday in New York City and the dance floor of the Supper
Club is packed . . .
listening to The Camaros perform you get the feeling that the music
isn't really old or new, it feels eternal.

| Hiring
the Camaros was one of the best things we did for our wedding.
We wanted a fun, retro wedding and we definitely got it. Everyone
was dancing - even my boss and grandparents! I don't think I have
ever been to a wedding where so many people enyoyed the music
and couldn't resist getting up to boogie. They played a key part
of making the wedding memorable. Many thanks to Jen and the rest
of the Camaros!

The
Camaros were awesome ... Jen Jones was so great
to work with and I think the crowd loved them ... I would
definitely recommend them again.

About
the Band
The Camaros made their mark on the swing dance revival due to
the originality of their songs, as well as the authenticity of
the retro sound in which they specialize. Formed by Lousiana girl
Jennifer Jones in 1997, they becames favorites with the more glamorous
venues- The Supper Club, Windows on the World, Ed Sullivan's Theater.
They've toured regularly since '98, expanding the regular schedule
to include LA's Derby, and Atlantic Dance Hall in Disney World.
In '99 the second lead vocalist left to form her own band, but
not before the debut record 'Evil' had sold 5000 copies. Now based
out of Nashville they've expanded the song list to include Western
Swing, Rockabilly, and classic country. They can do plenty with
a 'budget' 4 piece band, but they still love to bust out with
the swingin' 7 piece that made their name. |
